What is a customized A/B tests period?

A/B testing, also known as split testing, refers to a randomized experimentation process wherein two or more versions of a recommendations (across web pages, or emails, etc.) are shown to different segments of website visitors at the same time to determine which version leaves the maximum impact and drives business metrics.
Customized A/B test means that you will be able to deploy such A/B test on specific pages or collection of pages of your website, emails or SMS and measure KPIs that are important to your business. This also means that this A/B test can be use to compare 2 internal sets of recommendations, or to compare how Beam’s recommendation are performing agains others (internal or external) personalization API for which you have the credentials
How is “Beam Generated Revenue” calculated?

Beam generated revenue only applies to conversion resulting to interactions with the Beam Service and/or Widgets and/or other features in connection with Beam Service, as follows:
Onsite Product Recommendations: Online conversion shall be attributed to Beam if a consumer clicks on a product recommendation generated by the Beam Service and/or Widgets and then, in the next 48h, purchases the same product or variant that was recommended by Beam.
Onsite Category or Collection Recommendations: Online conversion shall be attributed to Beam if a consumer clicks on a category or collection recommendation generated by the Beam Service and/or Widgets and then, in the next 30 min or session, purchases any product or variant belonging to the category, theme or collection recommended by Beam.
Personalized Marketing Channels (Emails or SmS): visiting the Customer Store and subsequently making a purchase from any Beam marketing URLs, and/or email/SMS events in the next 30 min or session.

What is a Recommendation Set?

A recommendation set is a list of items ids or product ids returned when calling the Beam API. A recommendation can contain up to 64 recommendations. It exists 2 type of "Recommendation Set:
" Standard Recos or “Standard Recommendation Set” means a set of up to 64 recommendations obtained through the Crossing Minds API endpoint of “pre-computed recommendations” or file transfer.
Live Recos or Live Recommendation Set means a set of up to 64 recommendations obtained through the Crossing Minds API endpoint of “recommendations” or “recommendations with context items.”
